Birmingham - 25.04.23(Tuesday) / Manchester 27.04.23(Thursday) 1PM - 6PM It is an interactive session with MIDAS expert in midas Civil.
This workshop will provide hands-on experience to bridge design engineers for modeling,
analysis, and designing various types of PSC bridges, including substructures using midas Civil
thus making midas Civil a One-Stop Solution.
During the hands-on session, the main topic will be ‘How to perform the steel composite
bridge design using midas Civil wizard’.
Basically, Steel Composite bridges are one of the conventional and most adopted bridge in any infrastructure development project.
The inclusion of steel gives more versatility in layout and allows to span long distances.
midas Civil helps to handle every complexity of a steel composite bridge starting with the modelling, load application, analysis,
results interpretation till the most comprehensive design reports as per the codal provisions.
Soil Structure Interaction is a very salient factor while analysing any structure.
Any inexact assumption in this domain may lead to failure of structure. To understand this concept with an
FEA modelling of soil along with the structure, we’ll use one of midas family’s other advanced
analysis software – FEA NX and it’s interoperability with midas Civil.
