He holds a M.Eng. and a M.Sc., both from the NTUA and specializes between composite of structural steel and reinforced concrete structures. Charis Gantes is a Director of the Institute of Steel Structures at NTUA. More than 30 years of experience in consulting of steel structures. He, PhD, is currently Professor at Civil Engineering, and Head of the Laboratory of RC Structures at the N.T.U.A, teaching in concrete design for conventional earthquake and blast, testing and in situ assessment of concrete and concrete.
